CAMPING MEAL PREP HACKS
WATER
Put a frozen jug of water in your cooler. It will act as an ice pack, and when it melts you can drink it!
MEATS
Precut your meats at home, then freeze them. Place them in your cooler. While frozen, they will act as an ice pack. Once they melt, you can cook them.
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
Precut them at home and put them in your cooler.
EGGS
Scramble them at home, pour them into an empty water bottle, and pack them in your cooler so they’re ready to go with no extra prep.
POTATOES
At home, prep your potatoes by poking holes in them with a fork. Rub with olive oil and salt, wrap in foil, and bake at 300° F/150° C for 1 hour. Once you’re at camp, roast potatoes over the fire for only 15 minutes and they will be ready to eat!
